Excerpt from Austrian Hotel Regulations:
Rescission by the contracting party – Cancellation fees
§ 5.5 Up to 3 months before the guest’s agreed arrival date, the accommodation contract may be terminated by the contracting party in writing, without any cancellation fees being incurred.
Outside the dates stipulated in § 5.5, rescission by the contracting party in writing will incur the following cancellation charges:
- Up to 1 month before arrival date - 40 % of the full package price
- up to 1 week before arrival date - 70 % of the full package price
- in the last week of the arrival date, 90 % of the full package price.
